 THE VIRTUES OF SALAATUT TASBEEH
Salaatut Tasbeeh is a very important form of salaah, as is evident from several ahaadith, wherein Rasulullah (SAW) enjoined it as a matter of great kindness and favour and stressed on its importance. As such, the Ulamaa, Jurists, Muhadditheen, and Sufis throughout the centuries have been particular in offering this Salaah. Sayyiduna Abdullah Ibn Abbaas (RA) has narrated that he was once informed by Rasulullah (SAW), ''O Abbaas, Should I not present to you, should I not confer to you, should I not inform you of such an act, which if you practice, Allah (SWT) will forgive all your sins, whether old or new, intentional or unintentional, minor or major, open or secret. (After describing the method of performing this salaah) Nabi (SAW) stated, ''If possible, you should offer this salaah once everyday, and if you cannot perform it daily, then offer it on every Friday (weekly), or once a month, or once a year or at least once in your lifetime.'' Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakathu.
I've been working on a new project recently. I get so many requests via email from people asking for particular Islamic media files (especially bayaans by Maulana Ahmed Suleman Khatani). Sometimes uploading them to websites is cumbersome and long-winded. But no-one can deny the thawaab one can receive.
It was as a result of the serious lack of a centralised area which distributed authentic Islamic files, that a new service has been created. Similar to file-sharing services such as Napster and Kazaa, SunniTorrents is a peer2peer file-sharing service exclusively for authentic Islamic files. SunniTorrents uses BitTorrent technology.
If you are acustom to how BitTorrent works, then Allhamdullilah. If not, then you'll have to do a bit of initial reading! Once setup though, you'll be able to download all kinds of material - anasheed, bayaans, Quran, books, pretty much anything anyone else wants to share!
Please have a look at the new site, register and participate. I urge everyone to click on "Help!" at the top right-hand corner of the site and read that section so you know how to use the service. You'll be lost without it! Before you can download anything, you will need to download a BitTorrent client - click on the "Help!" link to find links to the best clients.
Comments, suggestions, etc. are always welcome, Insha'Allah.
The site: SunniTorrents.
The site has only just been launched so there are few files being shared at the moment. Feel free to make your own torrents and share them with the rest of the community. Immense thawaab on offer, Insha'Allah!
JazakAllahu Khair.
Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakathu.

The false propaganda against and blatant fabrications about our highly acclaimed
and respected Ulama of Deoband by the ignorant must be refuted at all costs.
Numerous pamphlets and booklets have been written distorting the truth about and
writings of our distinguished Ulama.
Among the most common pamphlets displayed is "Tabliqism - one way ticket to
Hell". "Are these Islamic Beliefs": in one column is the 'Deobandi Tabliqi
Beliefs' and next to it is the 'Islamic beliefs'. However, answers to the
allegations have been given in various publications. Therefore, this publication
will attempt to print all the false allegations and the correct views.
The False Allegation
Rashid Ahmed Gangohi, a founder of Deobandi Movement has the following beliefs:
1. The Almighty Allah can speak a lie. (Fataawa Rashidiyya part 1 pg. 20)
2. Allah has already spoken a lie (Taqseedul Qadeer pg. 79).
The Truth and Clarification
The view of Hadhrat Moulana Rashid Ahmad Gangohi Saheb is that Allah is far
above and pure from being attributed with falsehood. There is no blemish of
falsehood in His words at all for Allah says, 'Who is more truthful than Allah
in speech.' He who believes that Allah speaks a lie is an accursed outright
Kaafir and opposed to the Qurăn and Sunnah. (Fataawa Rashidiyya part 1 pg. 3)
Fataawa Rashidiyya pg. 84: 'From servant Rashid Ahmed Gangohi, after Salaam
Masnoon, you have inquired concerning the Masalah 'Imkaane Kizb' (possibility of
falsehood). But 'Imkaane Kizb' in the sense that Allah Taăla has the power to
act contrary to what He has ordered, but will not to do with His Free Will, is
the belief of this servant. The Qurăn Shareef and the Sahih Ahaadith bear
testimony to this belief, and this is the belief of all the Ulama of the Ummah
too. For example, Firáwn is promised to be thrown into Hell, but Allah Taăla has
the power to enter him into paradise, although He will never give him paradise.
And this is the Masalah under discussion at the moment. This is the belief of
all my friends. The enemies must have related it differently. Referring to this
Power and the non-occurrence of it is termed 'Imkaane Zaati' and 'Mumtana bi
Ghayr' Was salaam Rashid Ahmad Gangohi.
Look, how they lay waiting with vicious, malicious attempts to defame this noble
personality. If it is not slander then what is it?
To distort the above mentioned Masalah and refer it to Hadhrat Moulana Rashid
Ahmad Gangohi Saheb is totally evil and wrong. It is a slander and slander is
worse than back-biting.
Fataawa Rashidiyya pg. 90: 'That person who believes or utters with the tongue
concerning Allah Taăla that "He spoke a lie", is positively a Kaafir, an
accursed and opposed to the Qurăn, Hadith and the unanimity of the Ummah. He is
definitely not a Mu'min. Taălallaahu ammaa yaqoolu dhaalimoona oluwwan kabeeraa.
(Allah is far above from what the transgressors are saying).'
The misrepresenter, besides being involved with misrepresentation, has earned
the wrath of Allah. Let the Hadith of the Master of the Green Dome once again
ring in his ears. 'A person does not target another with impiety or a person
does not target another with Kufr, but it returns to the former if the latter is
not guilty of it.' (Bukhari)
Taqdeesul Qadeer is not compiled by the Ulama of Deoband. In fact there is no
such Kitaab by this name.

 By Khalid Baig
Imam Shu'bah ibn Hajjaj was riding his horse when Abdullah intercepted him. Abdullah was a known street urchin. Not only he was given to a life of sin, he was also unabashed about it. Imam Shu'bah knew that trouble was ahead when Abdullah stopped him.
Shu'bah (d. 100 A.H) is known as the "Amirul Momineen fil hadith." He is one of the foremost scholars of the science of Hadith Criticism. Abdullah knew his stature as a great hadith scholar, but he was bent on having some fun. "Shu'bah! Tell me a hadith," he said with mischief in his eyes. "This is not the way to learn hadith," Imam Shu'bah replied. "You are going to tell me a hadith or else…" Abdullah threatened. When Shu'bah realized that he could not talk his way out of this he said: "OK, I'll tell you a hadith." He then narrated the isnad (a chain of narrators) and then the hadith: "Prophet Sall-Allahu alayhi wa sallam said: "If you have lost haya then do whatever you feel like."

 What is Anger?
Anger is an emotional excitement triggered by intense displeasure over insult or injury. It is common sight that some comment or criticism or misbehaviour would throw one into an upsurge of excitement. Instant anger is something natural. Being beyond one’s control, one cannot be reproached for it. However, doing what anger demands to be done, especially when it is likely to cross the limits, is blameworthy. Let us keep in mind that the initial emotion of anger is involuntary - while acting under the dictate of one’s anger is voluntary. So, one may either do what his anger says he should, or may not want to do anything of the sort — both shall be a matter of choice. The secret is that one who elects not to placate his anger repeatedly will find that the push and pull of his habitual anger has weakened.
The three types of anger
- The state of emotional excitement and the appearance of anger (by facial expressions only).
- The shift from excitement to action, such as, shouting at or hitting somebody. Once a person has done so, it means that he has done everything his anger wanted him to do.
- In the third level of anger, the initial emotional excitement is certainly there, but one does not let himself go out of control, nor does he release his anger, nor does he take any action at the spur of moment. Instead of that, he waits for the initial excitement to subside, deliberates, and then takes the necessary action.
Which one is the wisest?
Let us first concede that there is one or the other element of wisdom in anger from the viewpoint of reason or the Shari’ah. In order to discover that, we shall try to determine which of the three types mentioned above are more expedient.

I've just moved the site over to a new hosting company and am still in the process of re-uploading all the files. Until then, you may find some of the downloads not to be working. This should be fixed within a day or so, Insha'allah. If you come across any other glitches/bugs, then please post them in the forum.
Insha'allah I'll also be adding new content to the site soon.

Introduction - Importance of Salaat-Salaam (Durood Shareef)
"Allah and his angels send blessings on the Prophet. O you who believe! Send your blessings on him, and salute him with all respects. (The Holy Quran 6:33)
Abdullah Ibn Abbas Radiallahu anhu reports that Rasulullah (saw) said, "Whoever recites the following Durood once, Allah will instruct the angels to keep writing good deeds for him for a thousand days: "Jazallahu annaa muhammadan ma huwa ahluhu" (Translation: May Allah reward Muhammad, on our behalf, as much as he deserves.) HADITH RECORDED IN TABRANI ON THE AUTHORITY OF ABDULLAH IBN ABBAS.
Abu Hurairah Radiallahu anhu reports that the Holy Prophet (SAW) said, "Whoever recites the following Durood eighty times immediately after Asr Salaat on Friday, before standing up from his place, Allah will forgive eighty years of sins and grant him the reward equivalent to eighty years of worship: "Allahumma salli alaa muhammadinin nabiyyil ummiyyi wa-ala aalihi wasallim tasleema" (Translation: O Allah bless Muhammad, the unlettered Prophet, and his family and grant them best of peace.) HADITH RECORDED IN JAME SAGEER ON THE AUTHORITY OF ABU HURAIRAH.
Benefits of Reciting Salaat-Salaam (Durood Shareef)
Listed below are some of the many benefits a person receives by reciting Durood Shareef:
- Almighty Allah sends ten mercies upon a person who recites Durood once.

Two discourses were delivered on the subject of "Tazkiyah - Methods of Purifying the Soul" by Hazrat Moulana Muhammad Farouq Sahib. This is the second of the two, titled, "A Majlis for Ladies on the Usool of Life". The first discourse is also a highly recommended read Insha'allah - "A Majlis on the Occasion of a Hifz Jalsa".
A MAJLIS FOR LADIES ON THE USOOL OF LIFE
KHUTBA
All praises are due unto Allah. We praise Him and we seek His assistance and forgiveness. We believe in Him, and place out trust in Him. We seek Allah’s protection from the evil of our souls and the wickedness of our deeds. Whosoever Allah misleads, there is no-one to guide him, and whosoever Allah guide, none is there to mislead him. We testify that none is worthy of worship but Allah, Who is alone, without partner. He has no likeness, no peer, nor any resemblance. And we testify that verily our master, our Prophet, our beloved and the Beloved of Our Lord, our Physician and the Physician of our hearts, our friend Muhammad, is His servant and true Messenger. May Allah send durood upon the best of His creation, Muhammad, and upon all his family and companions.
O Allah! Send salaat, salaam and blessing in abundance upon our Master and friend Muhammad, and upon the family of our Master and friend Muhammad.
O LORD! Send salaat and salaam eternally and perpetually, upon Your Beloved, through whom time was adorned.
I begin with the taufeeq of Allah and the blessing s of my holy Murshid. There are certain principles that form the essence of proper living, which I shall present to you in order of priority. Masha-Allah, in this gathering there are daughters, mothers, sisters, and even men folk; these points will prove beneficial for all types of people.
THE PURPOSE OF LIFE
Every Muslim should place before him or herself the purpose of life, which is a gift from Allah Ta’ala, and live accordingly. Allah has defined the purpose of our life as gulaami or servitude (slavery unto Allah). Allah has sent us into this world as slaves, and the gulaam (slave) is one who at all times is subservient to the master, not just occasionally. Since we are here in this world as slaves, it is necessary that us slaves acquaint ourselves with the nature of our master, as well as his rules and regulations. What is the reality of this servitude or subjugation to Allah? Actually, one who inculcates subservience to Allah, becomes an Aarif, i.e. one who recognizes Almighty Allah. He achieves ma’rifat or recognition, and through this, love for Allah is obtained. In turn, through Love for Allah one’s relationship with Allah improves and one is ultimately successful in fulfilling the purpose of life.
